So here’s the deal: Blake, who’s juggling life as a husband and dad in San Francisco, finds out he inherited his old house in Oregon when his dad goes missing and is assumed dead. Now, things are rocky with his wife Charlotte, who’s kind of a big shot. So Blake suggests they ditch city life for a bit to check out this childhood place with their little girl, Ginger.

They roll up to the farmhouse late at night and—bam—out of nowhere they’re ambushed by some mysterious animal. They’ve got no choice but to hole up inside while the creepy critter prowls around outside. And then it gets weird. Realizing they’re not just dealing with nature’s beasts, Charlotte watches as Blake starts acting super strange. He’s changing into something she doesn’t even recognize. Now she’s stuck between a rock and a hard place, trying to figure out if what’s waiting for them inside is scarier than whatever’s lurking outside that door.
